This summer, from June 25 to 28, 2013, I took the 4 days and 3 nights Yangtze River cruise Victoria Anna from Chongqing to Yichang. It was a enjoyable and perfect trip for me.

I had a wonderful afternoon in Chongqing. Its immenseness swallows the first-time visitor, makes one feel one’s own minuteness, insignificance. The first impression it makes is striking.
Monorail is a way to get a good literal overview of parts of the city. I took the monorail from Chongqing North Railway Station to Erling Park to have bird’s eye view of Chongqing City.
Three Gorges Museum in Chongqing
Hongya Cave
This 11-story building juts out from a cliff along the bank of the Jialing River. With its classical-style architecture and shops selling all sorts of tourist kitsch on the third and fourth floors, it’s an attraction for Chongqing visitors. The mid-levels house food courts with a wide variety of inexpensive snacks and meals while the upper floors contain upscale restaurants and a Starbucks.
Beautiful night view on Jiangling River.
Evening entertainments along Yangtze River. Enjoy yourselves before you board your cruise.
There are many cruise docked along Yangtze River at Chaotianmen Dock.
The private porter at Chongqing Chaotianmen Dock could carry your luggages and send them to your cabin. Each bag is with no more than 15 Yuan.
Once entered the ship, you were in another world. Greeted by the warm crew who spoke English, checked in just in a few minutes, and the staff showed you where your cabin located.
My cabin was No. 303. It was a standard cabin shared with another member. I had a great time to talk with my mate.
There was a shower and a bathtub in the bathroom, shampoo included. I also got a hair dryer and a safe.
The good thing about Victoria Anna is that every cabin has a small balcony, enough for two chairs and a table. Every morning and evening, I spent some quiet time on the balcony just looking at the sights.
